The paint has barely dried on the release of the ADAC GT Masters 2013 pack for RaceRoom Racing Experience (R3E) and now Sector3 has released a video showing off ADAC GT Masters 2014 at Slovakiaring. With so little development time between 2013 and 2014, the questions becomes what’s new? Naturally, the only info released with the video was my favorite, “coming soon” tag (for those playing along at home, drink).
What is new is the Slovakiaring circuit. The ADAC GT Masters track was left out of the 2013 version that featured six tracks, so I don’t think it will be much of a stretch to anticipate more tracks in the 2014 pack (see interview below). And even though “coming soon” is the mire of all us sim racing fans, Sector3 has a pretty good track record of actually releasing things soon.
And while we’re on the subject of R3E and ADAC GT Masters, here is a behind the scenes interview with track designer Alex Hummler, about his work on R3E’s latest track building efforts, including Sachsenring. Lots of good preview shots and talk of upcoming content, I strongly suggest watching.
