Livery competition announced, liveries selected, Radical released! Studio 397’s virtual interpretation of the Radical SR3-RSX is now available in the Steam Workshop of rFactor 2!
What is the Radical SR3-RSX?
Radicals are probably the most amount of race car you can get for the public road. Light-weight, purpose built and many of them fitted with the engine of a superbike. No wonder the cars were able to establish themselves as a more than solid choice in motorsport. Radical only celebrated its 20th anniversary in January.
The SR3 is Radical’s most popular car, with over 1000 examples currently in existence. Its latest version, the SR3-SRX, sports a motorcycle engine, a high-performance 4-cylinder version of the RPE 1500 Generation 3 short stroke engine to be precise, which produces 256 BHP and is able to bring the car up to 100 KPH in only 3.1 seconds. It is a serious track weapon!
Radicals are part of many racing series and even participated in the 24-hours race of Le Mans.
The SR3-SRX is available now in rFactor 2’s Steam Workshop together with 20 liveries crafted by the community! And to cater for every driving preference, the car comes in a right-hand and left-hand drive version!
