Project CARS 2 news are piling up, which is a good thing, since it seams that progress is being made. After all, it is supposed to release in roughly two months.
Today, Slightly Mad Studios has released the official car list for Project CARS 2, with a handful of cars remaining to be announced.
Show me the cars!
Here they are:
Things worth noting
With the car list, the focus on multi-class racing becomes more evident than ever. For example, a virtual 24-Hours Le Mans race could have up to 17 different car models, consisting of 5 GTE and 12 LMP cars, which is without taking liveries or the amount of drivers into account. And if you are fans of the Le Mans days of the past then do not worry, three vintage prototypes, five LMP9000 cars, seven GT1 cars and nine Group C cars are waiting for you with their keys in the ignition.
And Le Mans is only one example of a possible multi-class race that could be set-up.
Of course, the other classes are no bit less spectacular: Historic and modern open-wheelers, touring cars, supercars, hypercars… the list goes on and on.
However, you might recognise a few of the cars as parts of the original Project CARS game but as we know, many of them have been reworked.
And to save you some counting, Project CARS 2 will feature 180 cars from 9 motor racing disciplines, split into 29 different motorsport series.
Remember, release date is still September 22!
