Ever want to pair Logitech pedals with a Thrustmaster wheel base? Well now you can thanks to the DB9 Pedals T.RJ12 Adapter – that’s quite the name – from Thrustmaster.
While the adapter makes any pedals that use the DB9 connector compatible with a Thrustmaster base…that only leaves Logitech when the music stops playing. Considering Thrustmaster sells pedals that are in direct competition with Logitech, the T3PA’s, this is a pretty charitable move by Thrustmaster.
They’re pretty much saying, “Like your stock or modified G25/G27/G29 pedals? Keep them when you upgrade to a Thrustmaster wheel base.”
And that’s not all. One of our biggest complaints about the G pedals are that they are only 8-bit (255 steps) resolution. But now you can use the adapter and connect them to the Thrustmaster bases that are 10-bit (1024 steps). A whole new world!
Currently, the DB9 Pedals T.RJ12 Adapter is only available through Thrustmaster’s European store, for £9.99. More PR info below the break.
