In the ongoing promotion of their collaboration between real world racing car driver, Nicolas Hamilton and Project CARS, Slightly Mad Studios have asked Nicolas to set a time to beat on probably the most famous Australian racing circuit, Bathurst! Nicolas took up the challenge and set a time of 2:01.945 seconds on the Mount Panorama circuit in a Renault Sport R.S.01.
Slightly Mad Studios is inviting players of the title to have a go at besting the time set by Nicolas in the Renault. The Mount Panorama circuit is situated in rural New South Wales, Australia and is home to the Bathurst 1000 and the more recent 12 hour endurance race. Great to see the iconic Aussie circuit being highlighted this way in the virtual arena. The circuit itself is an unforgiving rollercoaster ride that punishes even the slightest mistakes over the top of the mountain. There are very few run-off areas and lots of concrete walls to keep you honest during the lap. In short, a challenging circuit from start to finish!
Let us know in the comments section here below if you have recorded a time that eclipses Nicolas’s PB at the mountain.
