SCS Software have now added a new adjustable steering wheel feature for American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2! Players of both titles already had the possibility to adjust the interior camera’s viewpoint, changing the seating position, as well as the player’s head position by modifying the view angle.
Not being satisfied with the level of the already substantial in-cabin immersion, SCS Software were of the opinion that there was still room for improvement. With that said, both titles now allow for adjustment of the steering wheel column position. The new feature gives players the ability to modify the height and angle of the steering wheel, allowing for a perfect driving position and adding that extra level of immersion.
Lastly, SCS Software will add the ability to modify the seat adjustment UI screen window values by way of the mouse wheel!
American Truck Simulator gives the player the chance to climb behind the wheel of an 18 wheeler and travel through some of America’s largest cities, as well as remote locations such as the recently released Arizona expansion pack! For those of you not familiar with American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2, here is a link to our first look at the title back in February of this year.
