Presenting our Impressions of NASCAR Heat 2 from E3 2017. NASCAR Heat 2 is promising a lot after the mix-bag that was NASCAR Heat Evolution, and after E3, we’re still trying to figure out if that mix-bag has been sorted or not.
We weren’t able to play the game on a wheel and pedals….but was at least able to run a few races and check out two of the big new features, offline split screen and the Camping World Truck Series at Eldora Speedway on dirt. Split screen ran well, which is about all we can say about split screen and the trucks at Eldora were fun besides the amount of throttle they could handle. Given some polish, they might end up being the best thing about NASCAR Heat 2.
There’s still time for 704 Games to polish up NASCAR Heat 2 between now and it’s release on September 22nd. Whatever we get, we’ll be ready to review it.
