Presenting Test Drive of the new MXGP2 from Milestone on the PC. This is our first look at the newly released follow-up to 2014’s MXGP, and it features Billy running a Wild Card Career Mode event in Italy on the Suzuki RM Z250.
Since MXGP2 is a dirt bike title, Billy trades in the tried-and-true wheel for something less exciting, an Xbox One controller, and does his best against the AI. Maybe Milestone needs to contact these guys about motorcycle controllers…
For the race, Billy shows off the pretty good looking first person view, sound effects, AI aggressiveness, rut physics and some odd resetting when you get a little wide.
Besides that, it looks like Milestone has improved the graphical performance over their last effort, Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo, which struggled to run on the PC while performing fine on the PlayStation 4. While running 60 fps on the PC isn’t world beating, it is an improvement.
Let us know if you want to see more two wheel action from MXGP2!
