Milestone has announced that their second motorcycle racing game this year, MotoGP 17, will release on 15 June 2017.
Being the official and only officially licensed MotoGP game, MotoGP 17 features all the tracks, riders and bikes of the 2017 season together with the new rules and as an extra, the Red Bull Rookies Cup championship.
The game’s career mode is being described as “revolutionised” by Milestone and MotoGP 17 will have “a new competitive and thrilling online mode”.
Milestone also claim that the console versions will now “reach 60 FPS for the first time”. Remember though, “reach” does not mean “constantly run at”. Hopefully this statement will be proven wrong by the final game.
The game will release on 15 June in Europe, excluding Germany, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East and South Africa. A day later, 16 June, the game will then release in Germany.
As a release date for the US has not been mentioned, we can probably expect a release a couple of months later, as it was the case with RIDE 2.
MotoGP 17 will release on PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One, and Windows PC/STEAM and can be pre-ordered now.
