When Fanatec launched its CSL Elite Racing Wheel for the PlayStation 4 exclusively in Europe and Australia, as you can imagine, the rest of Fanatec’s market was not really pleased. Now, Fanatec was able to solve whatever issues caused the problem, at least for North America, and is bringing the wheel to the USA and Canada, which leaves Japan as the only Fanatec-covered country without the wheel. Pre-orders are available now and shipping is scheduled for the end of September.
But is it worth buying anyway?
Good question! Luckily, we have the answer for you right here:
Should you be living in the US or Canada and are looking for a new wheel AND a pedal set, you can add the CSL Elite Pedals and save $59.99 as part of the CSL Elite PS4 Starter Kit.
Wonder whether they are worth considering? Funny that you ask… Here is a review of the load cell version of the pedals. Not quite the same model, but it gives you an idea.
By the way, should you be in the market for an Xbox One wheel as well. You can add Xbox One compatibility to the Fanatec CSL Elite Racing Wheel by choosing the CSL Elite Steering Wheel P1. You can order that right here.
Should that not fit your budget, you can always go for the CSL Steering Wheel P1 and save a couple of bucks. Should you be interested, head here.
