Fanatec has announced it’s newest addition to its lengthy steering wheel lineup, the ClubSport Wheel Rim GT Forza Motorsport. With the release of Forza Motorsport 6 – which is today for Ultimate Edition owners – Fanatec and Turn 10 Studios have teamed up to offer the latest wheel for the Xbox One, and it’s a good looking wheel.
The wheel is a proper 330 mm in diameter, the same diameter as many real-life GT race cars. It’s covered in real leather – which looks great – and has some pretty white stitching to bring it all together.
The rim can be bought on its own or with the ClubSport Steering Wheel Universal Hub for Xbox One. The standalone wheel retails for $99.95 (129.95€) while the wheel + hub retail for $399.90 (479.90€). Both are available for pre-order now but the wheel + hub will be available September 15th in Europe, USA, Australia and Japan. The stand-alone rim isn’t available until October 30th.
More importantly, we (should be) getting the rim as early as next week so stay tuned here for (hopefully) our impressions of it, along with the ClubSport Wheel Base V2 and ClubSport Pedals V3. Yay sim racing stuff!
