F1 2015 PC Patch

A couple days ago, Codemasters released a new patch for the PC edition of F1 2015, bringing a handful of notable improvements to the title.  Of note, are stricter corner cutting rules – similar to what the consoles got recently – and updates to the car model/livery of seven out of the ten manufactures.

Also of note is some much needed support for two of our favorite wheels.  On the budget end of the spectrum, the Thrustmaster T150, and on the high end, the SimXperience AccuForce.  About time Codemasters, good work.

The rest of the updates, including Multiplayer bug fixes, can be seen below.

Game

  • Added a Strict corner cutting rules option and made the strict rules even stricter than they were previously following community feedback.
  • Added support for the Thrustmaster T-150.
  • Added support for the SimXperience AccuForce steering wheel.
  • Fixed RPM and flag information sent to UDP outgauge devices.

Multiplayer

  •  Fixed an issue where host migration wouldn’t work a session lobby.
  • Fixed an issue where the host would be unable to see a client’s car after they selected the “return to garage” option.
  • Fixed an issue where a session would fail to start if multiple players joined simultaneously.
  • Fixed an issue where a player could be prevented from leaving their garage after another player selected the “return to garage” option.
  • Fixed an issue where players could not change their tyres on the grid after completing an earlier OSQ session on the same track.
