Sébastien Loeb Rally Evo coming to Windows and Steam

Milestone, developers for Sébastien Loeb Rally Evo, have announced that their newest title will not only be coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (which we already knew) this Fall but will also be coming to Windows and Steam.  This is big news due to the lack of rally titles over the past hand-full of years, across all platforms.  Milestone has even set up a Steam page in anticipation of the release, even though there’s not a whole lot of info there at the moment.

But what is there is the first of hopefully many Dev-Blogs from Milestone.  This first Dev-Blog just scratches the surface of the title but does give some key statistics.  The title will feature 250 km of track and GPS is utilized to up the realism.  What isn’t clearly stated is if the entire 250 km utilizes real-world GPS or if only parts of it.  Another feature showed off in the video is the inclusion of shorter, rally cross courses.  No word yet on the mix of short rally cross courses to longer, traditional point to point stages but its good to see a mix of both.

Another interesting tidbit from the video is the title will feature 50 vehicles from the 1960’s to today.  50 is a pretty solid number and with so many historic rally cars spread out over a lot of different manufactures, it will be interesting to see what vehicles make the cut.
