Derek Speare is notorious for awesome sim racing giveaways, and for this month, we have not one, but two contests! He has announced that he will be giving away a set of DSD Pedals, and a DSD P1 Button Box to two lucky sim racers.
The DSD Professional Grade Sim Racing Pedals, valued at $695, will likely be the more popular of the two competitions. Derek decided to go the route of repurposing real pedals for sim racing, in the form of Wilwood pedals. The gas and brake utilize industrial grade potentiometers rated at 1 million cycles, and the brake uses a 100kg load cell. For more information on the pedal set, you can check out our review here. Also announced today is a competition to win the Derek Speare Designs P1 Button Box. Valued at $100, the P1 would make for a great addition to any sim racer’s setup. The P1 features 6 two-way toggles, 4 standard buttons, 4 two-way rotary encoders, and the popular FVS lighted button. The box is also compact at 7.3″ x 4.5″ x 3″, to fit any racer’s cockpit.
