MXGP3 – Available Now in Most Parts of the World

Milestone was able to make its postponed release date for MXGP3 and has released the game today in most parts of the world in digital and physical form on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Why most parts of the world? Because North America will receive the game a little later on June 20. A launch trailer was also released an you can view it above.

What will MXGP3 offer?

As far as the actual game-mechanics are concerned, Milestone has taken a giant step forward by making MXGP3 run on the Unreal Engine 4. It is Milestone’s first game to run on this game engine. Gravel will be Milestone’s next game to take advantage of it.

Thanks to Unreal Engine 4, MXGP3 brings significant graphical, audible and physical improvements to the series.

Furthermore, the game features a new weather system and “highly deformable grounds”.

Regarding content, “all the riders, bikes and tracks of the 2016 [MXGP] season, including the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations” will be available.

Additional features include a career mode, offering the player to follow the path from MX2 driver to MXGP champion, and “an even more complete level of bike and rider customization”.

More is on the way!

With the release also comes the announcement of the DLC’s for the game. On PS4 exclusively, a season pass will available. The following DLC’s are coming:

  • MXGP3 – Credits Multiplier (available from today);
  • MXGP3 – Monster Energy SMX Riders Cup (from the 29th of June);
  • MXGP3 – Additional Tracks (from the 27th of July);

The first DLC is already available on PS4 and Xbox One. Once downloaded, “you will be able to multiply your credits after every race and in every game mode to reach the highest step of the podium as quickly as possible”.

No details are available regarding the other two DLC’s as of now.
