After MotoGP 17 comes … MotoGP 18 of course! Today, Milestone Italy made the announcement official, by presenting us with an announcement trailer, revealing exactly nothing but the release date. However, the official website gives us some details on what to expect!
So, What Can We Expect?
Milestone emphasis that this will NOT be a sequel, but a whole new game all together! Currently, the Italian developer backs this up with two facts (more to come): Firstly, MotoGP 18 will use the Unreal Engine (4) just as its stable mate MXGP3 and the upcoming Assetto Corsa Competizione for example.
Secondly, the team used “drone and 3D scanning” to replicate the tracks in even more detail in-game.
Single and multiplayer modes are of course a given and a MotoGP eSports Championship will be held again too! All tracks and riders of the calendar will be available together with all the major series, namely MotoGP, Moto 2, Moto 3 and the Red Bull Rookies Cup.
MotoGP 18 is supposed to land on all major platforms on June 7 this year, including the Nintendo Switch.
That is all we know for now, to get an better idea of what we are talking about, here is a selection of screenshots!
