After what feels like forever, KartKraft is poised to arrive on Steam Early Access in Q1 of this year. Sounds like a “#soon” tag to me!
Created by small Australian developer Black Delta, the Unreal Engine 4 powered KartKraft has been marketed as the karting world’s sim, driving the 45+ hp KZ2 racing kart around laser-scanned circuits from across the globe. Players can also swag out, with plenty of officially licensed gear from FREEM, Alpinestars, CRG, IAME, MIR, Sparco, Arai, Arrow, Monaco, Praga, Sodikart and many more.
Also of note, is KartKraft’s virtual reality (VR) support. Black Delta appears to work in the fledgling VR industry, thus, KartKraft is going to be VR enabled out of the box.
Considering Q1 ends in loosely April/May, it won’t be long before all of you have the opportunity to assist Black Delta in making KartKraft the karting sim that they think – and we hope – it can be.
