William Marsh 118 Report post Posted September 7, 2013 I have had my Logitech G25 for about 5 years now, and it has been pretty abused. I went for about a year, where I had it hooked up to the $7 wood folding tray table that you can get at Target, and sometimes my sister would bump it, and it falls forward. Well, one of the times, she knocked it over, and what I'm guessing is that it snapped the bottom part of the wheel rim and moved it backward, so it looks like this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/tsuzvkmggz551cm/IMG_20130906_221029.jpg https://www.dropbox.com/s/gvmnu4xz36l5gqd/IMG_20130906_221047.jpg It's still usable and a good wheel, but I got to try out a G27 and CSR wheel at Sonoma Raceway, which is making me realize the damage on it even more. I'd say I'm at a crossroads... - I'm wondering how tough it would be to fix the wheel, and if it's even worth it. I don't know how it would be to get a replacement wheel, and mod the G25. What good mods are there for the G25? -I'm liking the wheels that have come out recently, and I'm wondering if it may be time to move on and upgrade... For example, I am currently using the Clubsport pedals and the Rennsport Wheel Stand. Should I upgrade to a Fanatec wheel? - Or is it just a case of "if it ain't too broke, don't fix it"? clevohead 70 Report post Posted September 7, 2013 I remember seeing someone once cut the bottom and top parts out the wheel and used it like a F1 style/batmobile rim, worked well from what I remember. was on wone of the forums here or at GTPlanet

Superd00ps 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2013 I had my G25 since Dirt 1 and it finally died last year,...unfortunately I threw it out during Spring cleaning. I now have a G27, which is a big change from my worn out G25. I would say it's time to move on and sell your wheel for whatever you can get for it.
Gunstar 615 Report post Posted September 7, 2013 I'd get an adapter from DSD and put a new rim on it. http://www.derekspearedesigns.com/wheel-adapters.html
simul8r 114 Report post Posted September 7, 2013 I have a spare G27 wheel just laying around, don't know if it'll fit the 25 hub. Want it? Just pay S/H.
