G27 iRacing maximum wheel range (bump stop?)

2 posts in this topic

Greetings iRacers,

I've searched and searched and can't seem to find the answer to this.

I think I understand the generally accepted settings for the g27 (900 degree rotation, 100-107 force feedback, everything else 0), but I'm not getting any feedback from the wheel when I've hit the maximum turning of the car.  If i'm not crazy, the maximum range of the wheel in game isn't actually 900 degrees, yet it lets me keep turning the wheel far past the actual turning ability of the car.  This makes it impossible to tell when i'm going from virtual lock to lock.  Anything I can do to fix this short of lowering the degrees of rotation on the wheel settings?  Thank you in advance!

Current state of FFB (all wheels): http://members.iracing.com/jforum/posts/list/2023748.page

Min force settings for g27 (check the post about 3 up from the bottom): http://members.iracing.com/jforum/posts/list/50/2278090.page#5242481:

Linear FFB explained: http://members.iracing.com/jforum/posts/list/2021333.page

Hope this helps you out, and for hitting the bumpstop I believe most cars in the game have at least 400 deg of rotation so under no circumstance should you turn the wheel that much because you'll have extreeeme understeer
