March on Michigan 300 2013 - 2nd Annual - Logistics

Our next special event is coming soon ! On March 30th, 2013, we'll be running 150 laps at Michigan International Speedway, in the Chevrolet Silverado. 
 
The race will be broadcast live on ETV Live. 
 
The prize list is already starting to grow . This one will be an official iRacing event like our last one and clean racing will be the key ingredient to winning a prize.  You also MUST register for a prize HERE
 
Prizes so far include: 
Inside Sim Racing bumper sticker to all winners
Certificate to all podium finishers
Hopefully more TBA soon!
 
Event Details
 
•Race Event: Rookie & D license – Saturday, March 30th, 2013, 20:00 GMT /  3:00 PM ET 
•Race Event: C, B, A, Pro license – Saturday, March 30th, 2013, 20:00 GMT /  3:00 PM ET 
 
•Server: US Server Only
 
•Car: Chevrolet Silverado, car setup will be iRacing Michigan fixed setup
 
•Track: Michigan International Speedway
 
• Practice / Qualifying: Practice & Qualifying sessions will begin the week before the event.
 
•Qualifying Process: Each qualifying session will last for two green flag laps. Fastest lap will be your qualifying time. Driver will be placed in splits based on their qualifying time. Qualifying is not required. If a driver does not post a qualifying time they will be placed behind all the drivers in their split who did post a qual time, then they will be grided according to their iRating. 
 
•Warm up: A 15 minute warm-up will precede the race, to allow extra time to join the session 
 
•Safety Rating & iRating: This event is an official session and official session rules apply. Safety Rating and iRating will be in effect. 
 
•Tows, Resets, Pitstops, Yellow Flags: Drivers in the Rookie/D license will will be allowed one reset (a tow back to pit lane, damage repair and a fully repaired racecar). Damage repair will be on. Typical pit stop rules will be in effect. The race will begin with a rolling start. Full course yellow flags and double file restarts will be used. 
 
•Race Length: 150 laps 
 
•Field Size: Up to 43 racecars per split 
 
•Broadcast: Tune in at 3:00 US EST Time to catch the race. 
 
The guys at ETV will be checking in on other splits if time permits. Make sure to upload your custom paint schemes to http://www.tradingpaints.com/ as the ETV crew will be getting all the skins available for that car.

would it be possible to post coming times as GMT? GMT is what iRacing uses and makes time conversion easier.

Yes as soon as i know what the correct time is.. We're about to have a time change switch.

we should see the open practice sessions any day now. if you are in a hurry to test you can always do a test session by yourself best thing about it is that you will save your SR.

Hi, I registered for the Michigan 300 race but I haven't gotten the code for the lobby to join later, how do I get it? I'm really looking forward for this race! Please help as soon as you can, thank you.
