David Fletcher 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2013 That’s Grand Prix Legends, of course! The Average Drivers Club is a long-standing club that has been part of the GPL community for over 12 years now. We are unique in the GPL community in that we are not a ‘league’. We don’t keep standings, or hold championships. We just give interested GPLers an avenue to enjoy GPL in a fun environment, without the pressures that can come with running a championship. As a result, our racing is much friendlier, without the pressure and intensity that league racing can sometimes bring. We race on Wednesdays and Fridays at 21:00 EST US (02:00 GMT). The Wednesday Americas Division runs a single Intermediate Long race, and the Friday Heats Division runs Intermediate Short races to allow the running of multiple races. Usually two races are run, sometimes three. We alternate each week with the ’65, ’66, original 67, 67F2, ’69 and Can-Am mods. We have a large track list which contains a varied assortment of fun, challenging racetracks. Our membership base has a mixture of racers from very fast to very average, so everyone will have someone to race with. We realize that there are some new people discovering GPL, so we want to take this opportunity to let them know that we exist, and can provide an outlet for their GPL racing that they may not have been aware of. If the ADC sounds interesting to you, please send me an email at [email protected] and I’ll provide you with further information. Remco Hitman 49 Report post Posted February 27, 2013 GPL fun races like these are the best fun I've ever had in simracing. See it as organised pickup races where you race the same bunch every week just for the fun of it. Really, really awesome races we've had!
