TPS is proud to announce a partnership with Tom Onslow-Cole (@tomonslowcole) and Team-HARD (@tonygilham, team-hard.com) of the British Touring Car Championship!

 

This new deal, facilitated by the owner of GamePOD.co.uk, will see a fourth season of TPS' Virtual Clio Series, re-branded as the Tom Onslow-Cole Clio Series, involving ten events with the Clio Cup 2008 mod for rFactor, starting in March and finishing in August 2013.

 

Tom Onslow-Cole, known by fans and commentators alike as TOC, has been a favourite in British Touring Car Championship circles ever since he stepped into his Team RAC BMW in 2007, after dominating the Renault Clio Cup UK championship in 2006.

 

He went on to score his first BTCC podium in just his second event, and secured his first victory in the same year. Since then he has gone on to take 5 pole positions and 7 race wins.

 

TOC is joining a new team for the 2013 BTCC season in Team-HARD, and Team-HARD, as well as quickly becoming a fan's favourite with their approachable attitude and bold pink and green paint scheme, are rapidly becoming the most ambitious racing team in the UK, with no less than 4 cars planned to enter the 2013 BTCC championship, two of which being brand new NGTC-spec VW Passat CC's, one of which TOC will be driving. They will also be entering seven VW Golfs and a VW Scirocco in the VW Racing Cup.

 

As a result of this incredible partnership, TPS is proud to offer the biggest prize package in independent simracing history.

 

The winner of the TOC Clio Series will receive a chance to prove themselves for real, with a test drive in one Team-HARD's Volkswagen Golf race cars from the Volkswagen Racing Cup, along with one-on-one tuition from Tom Onslow-Cole himself, PLUS a passenger ride with Tom Onslow-Cole in his brand new VW Passat CC BTCC car, with hotel and flight costs fully covered (if applicable, some restrictions will apply).

 

Not only that, but for all drivers who participate in (a set number of races of) the season, there is the chance to win a one of a kind, special edition, Tom Onslow-Cole branded, GamePOD racing rig, worth well over €1500!

 

Not only that, there is the chance to win a 'money can't buy' hospitality package at a BTCC event, courtesy of Team-HARD, with two tickets given to one lucky winner, to experience a BTCC event from the team garage and to have access to the starting grid pre-race.

 

Not only that, but for all, there will be the chance win both TOC and TPS merchandise during live broadcasts in the season, with TPS working hard to bring even more prizes in, which are yet to be announced.

 

All ten events will be broadcasted live in HD from www.touringproseries.com, by our experienced broadcast team, with  guest appearances from Tom Onslow-Cole himself.
