I after making my post I also found some pvc pipes but they were rather expensive. Your link is great. Placed my order and will soon start building too. Thanks again SIMUL8R and ISR for posting this thread, This is my first rig and its rock solid. I set mine up for the CSR wheel, Shifter, and Elite pedals and everything works great. Used Hard wood instead of MDF just to see if I could get a little more longevity out of it. But all in all if your on a budget or not I would seriously recommend this rig for quality, adjustability, and for its customization potential. Uploaded some pics below. I made a quick list on b&q for anybody in the uk. It is just basic pipes and fitting but I couldn't find decent clamps or straps. Looking in local hardware store might get better results for these as well as for pvc adhesive. If you plan on painting your rig why not sand / scotch bright your pvc pipes before you start cutting them down to size. It's a good idea and I have thought about it but I decided at the end that I was eventually going to sand out most of the rough edges that were produced by either mocking, glueing and most especially deep scratches caused by pounding on and off fittings and pipes. I've noticed from experience how a textured surface PVC tends to pick up alot more of the dirt, grime or grease that can be cleaned off easier while in it's original state prior to painting. I've read stories about modding the logy's brakes and the amount of force needed to compress it, so, I added meaures to make sure the pedal deck itself does not creep away from me while in play even though I had Simpson Strong Tie brackets up in front. Awesome, the beauty of mocking up the rig prior to glueing is that you can make changes such as adding that other side pipe or shortening some pieces. AsthMattic 4 Report post Posted May 15, 2012 It wasn't a big deal with that configuration because I had roomm between the seat and the side rail to put my foot then it was just a slide in, I don't know how bolting the seat in and bringing the rail closer will effect that though.... And yes I filmed the assembly an some walk-around footage that I'm gonna put together with some time lapse, should be nice After some thought Im not certain about bringing the right side in because once the shifter mount is on it should be comfy, but I think I will the left and I'm seeing a cup holder in my future, but I'm not sure... Another point about construction is that I cut all the pieces by hand with a reciprocating saw and it all seems to fit just right even though my lines are far from perfect, just a note Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
