David Jundt 187 Report post Posted March 8, 2013 Btw: How do you re-install a game that you run via steam? Because after this night, the "support" through simsync ends again and if you don't use it immediately to remove the files from ATCC, you're kinda stuck with them. No? Jonatan Åcerclinth 400 Report post Posted March 9, 2013 Go into Steam, right click on your game and select "Remove local Content" and it should delete all content, double check to see if there is still files related to the mod left, if there is, delete appropriate files

Jonatan Åcerclinth 400 Report post Posted March 9, 2013 A very frustrating evening of racing I must say Congratulations to Jack on the championship and all the runners in it, was enjoyable to take part in this one Practice: Did a few laps to try and get a setup that was allright and then left. Fortunatly I could get my hands on Ethan and Mr. VanSheppingen who spent a couple hours trying to help me get the setup better for the track as my setup (which in the base is also from help from another driver who I thank greatly ) and we got something going that was allright. Q: Did my best but lost the car on the outside curb coming out of the Carousell and I started somewhere near the back. R1: Fairly good start, tried to stay cool and clean. Can't remember any contact or big misstakes Pitted early and changed the rears to try and balance the car and it worked fine, to start with.... Soon I was in a battle with Dariusz and Vinicius. Managed to stay ahead until I killed myself on the last lap by braking to late for Canada corner (which is where I've had most of my trouble with the Merc) and went into the wall. Lost about 12 seconds as David managed to get quite a gap on me Finished 18th or 19th..... R2: Good start, no where to go so stayed in 17th or something I think Was a lonely race pretty soon, had a short battle with Dariusz and Domingos. Was very lonley then until the last 2 laps when Ivan had his off at T1 and we had hard but fair battle for the minor placings Thank you very much Ivan, it was great fun and surely gave the event a sure "ending blast" which I was almost without at the point we said hello Thanks for the season and hope that we see many of you guys back for the next ATCC season, would be sad to lose all of you, such great racers and wonderful people to talk with and spend the night time with

Dennis Phelan 17 Report post Posted March 9, 2013 A big Thank You to Ivan Navarro and everyone else that touched this series to make it happen. A congratulations to Jack Keithley on winning the individual championship, Miguel Nieto and Francisco Villar of Team EKT for the Team win! A thanks to all that competed for the entire series and all those that entered and raced in any of the events. I had some fine races with my teammates, long time antagonists and some new friends. At times I looked like a professional sim racer and other times the back marking bumpkin that I am. I loved being on track with you all and felt I got all the respect that a driver could ask for. Series management did an excellent job of providing a challenging run of events which I thoroughly enjoyed. Seeing you all again soon on pit road.
Ivan Navarro 282 Report post Posted March 9, 2013 Congrats to Jack Keithley and to the EKT Portugal team on winning their respective ATCC Season 5 Championships!* Thanks to all who raced and especially those of you who kept your commitment to race the entire season. My sympathies to those who struggled with connection or game problems or were otherwise not able to continue, it was a shame you couldn't continue to do battle with us. Thanks to Ryan for his always professional and entertaining commentary, his assistance and guidance in the administration of the league, and giving me the opportunity to be a part of the behind the scenes action that makes the TPS what it is. This was my rookie season as a TPS league admin and it was my privilege to captain the ATCC through the end of the Race07 era. I know we had a rocky start and I made some mistakes along the way, and I hope you'll forgive me for that, but it is my hope that both simracers and fans will look back on Season 5 as a success. I look forward to what TPS has in store for the future of the ATCC and whatever role the TPS Management may have for me. Cheers! Ivan * Final Official Results will be announced after final round penalties are posted, but are not expected to change these provisional results.
David Jundt 187 Report post Posted March 9, 2013 Q: FAAAAAAIL. I was watching Mr Kilov's lap and left the pits too late so didn't get a lap in R1: Average. I needed to clear Bill, Andrew and Dennis in order to challenge the midfield. It took me too long to get around Dennis, which cost me a place to recovering Lopes. Never made it closer to the other guys as I had a half spin before my stop and wrongly stopped behind someone as I thought my pit box was obstructed. I finished 17th? just because Jon ran wide at Canada Corner(Sorry my lack of knowledge, but why's that so? Facing towards Canada?) and gifted me a place. Sorry Jon, I thought about slowing down and not overtaking you, but I remembered that Rhys was 13th and I still had a battle in the championship... R2: ...which ended when Rhys disconnected before the start. Jon can tell by our TS chat that I was very surprised and sad that it ended like this. Although I admit that on the other hand, I felt relieved and "egoish" that I just had to finished somewhere in the Top 20 to take the spot. The standing start of race 2 usually benefits the RWD, but the cars were so bunched up that me and Jonatan couldn't really advance. In the next 4 laps, I got a bit angry at all the FWDs trying desperately to outbrake(read: dive) me into a corner, mainly Vinicius and Ethan. Oh, especially you Ethan, someone was already trying on the right and you nearly ran into me. People, by now you should know I don't just move over as you please. Work your way up, but do it fairly My 2nd pit stop was good, I leapfrogged Vinicius and (just!) Dariusz. When Ivan and Domingos came together I moved up a position and tried to put pressure on Vaz. But it wasn't quite enough to get into P13, so I finished P14. Looks like I am 11th in the standings in the end, not sure if that will be also be the cause in the final results. Thanks for the season, it's been very interesting. And although I've been a newcomer to ATCC, it was fun after all. Just that I was working on my wheel settings for much too long and I am still not sure if they are okay Not to mention, I probably won't start that late in the night again Another big thanks to Jonatan for his setup help each race, wouldn't have been possible without him. He wasn't even my "true" teammate one could arguexD A real shame we weren't teamed-up: We'd be in 8th place instead of 11th and 14th. This has also been the final swang song for Nijo Racing on TPS for the moment. Thanks to everyone once again. Also, congratulations to Jack and EKT!

This has also been the final swang song for Nijo Racing on TPS for the moment. Thanks to everyone once again. Also, congratulations to Jack and EKT! Canada Corner: I had Vinicius draft up the outside of me going down the back straight (how is that even possible ) and I was so concentrated on where he was that I missed my braking point by 1-2 car leanghts (my braking point was allready on the edge to put it that way) so I locked up, tried to fix it, went sideways, rear first into the barrier and the car decided to throw itself outwards again and the front end felt like going towards Canada AHHHAHAHHAHAHAH, at the time I was dissapointed but now I find it hilarious I made such a misstake You not slowing down: No worries mate, you were fighting for a championship position so I didn't even consider the possibility that you would slow down for me Setup Help: That is no problems what so ever. I myself had help to understand the car in the beginning of the season and since we were teammates, be it in a Nijo-OSR combination, teammates are teammates and you have been a very good and friendly teammate (some hard words, frustrated words, some hurrah and some sighs has been used in TS but from both of us when we were alone in TS so it was good fun) and it was great fun to see you get the Merc to go even better than me and since it was with my setups I felt like I had a part in your pace so I'm just happy to help in any way possible for you to go faster I hope that we will be able to race together as a team again as I will miss our late night discussions, laughs and general talk about everything and nothing EDIT: Sorry for the essay, got longer than I thought it would be

Robert Wiesenmüller 794 Report post Posted March 9, 2013 It was really nice to be a part of the last ATCC race. My pace was not stunning, but I didn't make a fool out of myself, made no big mistakes and brought the car home twice in 11th. Need to apologize to Chris Shepherd though, I was so surprised that he passed me on the straight with a Seat that I gave him a little punt into the next corner. Congrats to Jack and Alex for the wins, to Jack for the title and to Miguel and Francisco for the teams title. Clean sweep for Shark Skins cars too. And goodbye Race07, regardless of what some people say and think of it, this game provided many exciting races and it's also a bit sad to see it go.

Matthias Klein 8 Report post Posted March 10, 2013 Gratz to Jack, the ATCC champ. Last ATCC-Race07 event and it was a sweet one. Too bad my teammate Reggie didn't make it due to technical issues with the computer. So i had to raise the Movie-Go flag on my own. I didn't practice at all because i just didn't have the time, so P9 in Q was quite ok. Nice first race except me hitting someone under braking, i think it was Diogo. Sorry about that. I didn't expect such an early braking point, which i by no means an excuse, just my fault. Other than that it was lovely, even the somewhat lottery-setup worked fine. Then race two... once again an epic fail at the start of race 2. Seems to be my big thing with standing starts at Road America lol. Did forget how long the first gear was on this track. Anyway, nice races. Would have joined the championship earlier than at race 4 but didn't have the time. Maybe next season. Thanks to all guys involved for making this championship run and cu next time.
Diogo Lopes 9 Report post Posted March 11, 2013 No problem Matthias Klein we all make mistakes, I know it was not deliberate. I felt so sorry because I could have fought for the championship teams and was something that I and my team mate Hugo Goncalves wanted too.but the races have these things. It was a great tournament for min, almost won a race and was in the top ten.for the next year can count on me because I love ATCC.excuse the English, I use translator. Pedro Amaral 143 Report post Posted March 12, 2013 Hi everyone The season started badly even before the start, as I did a better time with the Chevy on pre-qualy and didn´t have the time to make a better one (wich was clearly possible) with the Alfa, wich was the car I wanted. I think that compromised the season for me, as the Chevy proved to be a difficult car on this mod... Anyway the last race was nice, had good battles on both races with Mathias and Duarte, and had 2 top 10 finishes (9th and 7th). Once again ATCC proved to be an excelent championship, with great drivers. Altough mid-season saw some drivers signing out, new drivers came in and we always had a good grid. We europeans make a big effort to play it believe me...usually to be awake at 3:00 AM on a friday after a week of work, I have to out drinking and partying... Unfortunatly I can´t do that on ATCC nights...but it's hard to get there... Last but not least, congratulations to Jack for the wonderfull display of good driving, and to all my portuguese mates for excelent perfomances. Also I really recognize the work and effort the TPS team made this season. Excelent broadcasts and communication. I don´t know wich game will support the next ATCC season, but I don´t really care. If I don´t have it, I'll buy it...

Bill Kaiser 13 Report post Posted March 13, 2013 Congratulations to Jack for his championship and to EKT Portugal (Miguel and Francisco) on the team championship. Many thanks to Ivan and Ryan and all the others for the admin chores and broadcasts. I ended up on the only server with the fast guys for my last three races. Shows you what stubbornness will do for you. I guess I would echo the observation that the BMWs were untouchable on some of the tracks. This, of course, didn't affect my results as I am usually fighting to stay out of last place. Road America: In qualifying I crashed and started from the back. Only took left side tires and ended up ahead of Dennis who hounded me for the remainder of Race 1. Fortunately, I was able to keep my line most of the time and brought it home just ahead of DP (a longtime rival). In race 2, I got off to a horrible start by shifting too early and I tucked in behind Dennis and Andrew seeing if I might find some weakness. But then they got together in Turn 5 and I was able to get by and maintain the gap to the finish. Always great to drive in the ATTC and kudos to the people who have to drive at odd hours to make this such a great international series.
