Own worse enemy is me once again.

Fell off just for a moment in the penultimate corner losing time mostly and it meant I came out behind Chris Shepherd and lost time meaning I wasn't able to get away from the Alfa Portuguese train.

Though the hits didn't help.

Had great fun with Rhys and Jundt in race 2. Fantastic racing where I'm sure we were 3 wide at one point and none of us wrecked.

Hopefully I'll get my best ever finish round Road America for ATCC's finale.

Cya all then.

Ethan, calling Rhys by forename, but me by surename? lol

Indeed, that's how it should be. Tapped your car a little which gave Rhys a chance, but it was all fair :)

Sadly, I had two incidents with Chris(again), first was a bit a late dive when I thought I made my intentions quite clear I wouldn't let him pass. Second incident is probably my fault as I chopped him off, but I don't have to mention I already had bad memories of him. Sorry Chris, didn't mean to be so mean, but I wasn't quite sure where you were and I wanted to keep up with the guys ahead which led me to being slightly ego.

The history repeats itself though  : Good start, close to the guys infront, gets trapped in space, car behind spins you, you drop to last and have to try getting as much time as possible.

Still battling Rhys for 12th in the standings, let's see how that will work out.

Nearly got caught in the big mess in R2, someone hitting the car infront saved me from receiving hard damage, couldn't see much with the smoke and tapped the Alfa a little

Although I am quite worried about being miles off in qualifying, losing more than a second to the midfield. I should be better than that.

Practice:

Was struggling to get the car to do what I wanted it to but managed to find a middle of the road setup which was allright.

Q:

An unexpected 28.4 and 12th in the end, overjoyed with the lap but it was on the very edge of adhetion, I was scared the whole lap

R1:

Bad start, got hit off at T2 but didn't loose to much but decided to pit early and see if I could gain some positions, being in 19th or something like that when I pitted.

Came out and did some very good laps and found myself in 12th after a misstake after a small misstake at T7-8 understeering unto the grass :(

R2:

Had a good start and tried to stay out of trouble and then got hit hard in the rear left by someone sending me round with damage to the rear end meaning the car was crabbing and flinging out in the right handers :(

Was last when I got out of that place after kissing Reggies Beemer as we were front bumper to front bumper :)

Managed to get a good pace out of my stricken car and tried to repair the damage but it wasn't repaired so I had to fight it for the whole race, which wasn't fun :(

Managed to keep up with Ivan, Ethan, David and Rhys until David got past and Ivan had trouble so got 13th in the end, not happy as my start was promising but I'll take that considering the troubles I had :)

Cheers :)

Also a shout-out to my Race Engineer and Setup Refiner Jonas "Keith" Acker. Without him, I wouldn't have made stable runs in the end. Hmm, I wonder if you know him...

LOL, just something I did. No meaning behind it, though I think I mainly call people by their more unique name.

Nevermind then, there are many Davids in the world, but I was probably the last one in ATCC ^_^

Sometimes, I am also known as "Jundty"...

Q: bad lap, 3 tenths off my best lap on practice...but it was 8yh place, and I really couldn't expect better than 6th, so it was good.

R1: had a good start, passed Caiado and Duarte Lopes. I managed to escape by a few inches the mayhem on T2 and folowed Hugo Gonçalves until I made a mistake and lost 2 secs. After pitting he was quicker and I just took the car with a good 6th place.

R2: At the start I could only see BMW's flying all over the place. I was side by side with my teammate on T3 but I went a little wide and touched the grass on the outside while braking. I spun and hit Jonatan - sorry...:( - and made a mess because nobody expected to see a standing car on the racing line.

Next lap I caught Baron hard when he was spinning, and one lap later I was passing Ivan, we touched and my car just flipped...

As soon as I could I went for my pit stop, and repaired damage, because the car was too slow. I still managed to gain a few places, I had a good pace after pitting and finished 14th just behind Rhys, Jonatan and Ethan.

So see you at one of my favourite tracks (Road America), I just hope that my Chevy can keep up with it, better than it did until now...

It's allright mate, at the time I wasn't happy but I watched the replay and it was an honest misstake. It was unfortunate that it happened but s*** happens all the time so you don't need to worry, I'm not angry :)

Q: A failure as I could only do one second slower than my best practice time.

R1: Who's that guy that started the race thinking that it was eleven laps long only to realize his mistake one lap before his scheduled pit?

A quick reset of the pit preset to include fuel bumbled by not making the selection green, second pit stop for gas one lap later, bummed it was a good race.

R2: A good race, I figured out how to drive the car finally and even though faster guys were passing me I had another fun run. Thanks to all the organizers and drivers.

See you all at the final event!

Next race will be last Race07's event in TPS right?

So for this special race (because TPS started in race07) i hope a lot of rain lol

Because others tps series are running in rfactor and Game stock car, both have dry settings only.

rFactor can have wet settings but it has to be set up when the track is created  but rain itself is not available, that is very correct :)

Have never heard about it, sorry for my lack of knowledge

Ah, I noticed you're not part of the Optimum Crew that starts in FC at GPVWC, so you wouldn't know. Is Bradley keeping secrets from you? :P

Hi all,

Q- 10th

R1- I completely missed the reference of the braking point for the first right coner, because I found myself on the right side of the track...(no black rubber reference on the tramac). So unfortunately I braked toooooo late hitting Caiado and Duarte Lopes, spreading confusion:((( Sincerely Im very upset because I just hate this kind of incidents!

R2- No luck (was a punishment LOL) It was simply impossible to avoid some cars in front of me (some acidents). My car was very damage, losing to much time on track / pit stop.

I will do everthing to prevent those kind of acidents in future races!

Again my apologies,

Best regards,

Vaz

Sorry for not showing for this round. We had bad weather where i live. The weather was terrible Friday night, culminating in a family of tornados (first time we have ever had them as far as i know) hitting the town where i live on saturday.

Everything is back to normal now which is good. Survived with only minor issues.

Anyway i hope everyone else had a good day of racing.
