It's generally the track that causes problems, especially if the track only says 25 in the files. Using mWeight to then make the grid bigger can cause problems. Not a problem at all getting 35 cars on track if the files say 35 cars willl work on a track.

KW at max can hold 30 cars, which would mean a max of 29 racers with one broadcast car, but 24 imo is plenty enough round this track. On tracks like Sebring, I would gladly race in a 40 car field, maybe a special event in the future where 20 GT Pro and 20 GT Sport race.

Those who suffer with lag already though is just something we have to live with and ATCC has always been 24-25 cars on track for simplicity sake and to reduce possibilities of grid bugs.

NOTE ON SUPER POLE LAP:

You do not have to follow pit Exit/Entry guidelines for you qualification lap. Make sure you make a safe exit on your Out Lap so you can set a good time on your Hot Lap.   :)

Also,

A few of us will be on the Practice server tomorrow evening at 23:00GMT to get some practice in.  It'd be great if we could get a decent number of cars and run a full practice race with a formation lap and pit stop.

If you can't make it, please do try to get some practice drafting and pitting before the race.

Last night Ivan, Jonatan, Reggie and I were on for a bit together having a great time on this track. TS made it easy for drivers to get cars squared away and we got plenty of the experience that only this track can bring. A practice race would be great, it's good to get the spins, creashes and multiple car pileups out of the way before the real thing,  :-P

Btw: I am still trying to get the best feel for the FFB. What are you guys using? This game has FFB effects for several situations(steering, kerbs, etc.) and I am not sure what gives a rather good feeling of the car.

Still struggling to get the best feel. It's strange how the FFB feel vanishes when you lock up. I can turn the wheel easily while the car just goes straight and that's quite confusing.

The driver allocation for Round 4 at KW Superspeedway has been updated HERE.

As result of reported absences, the following drivers have been promoted to Division 1:

  • Andy Vandevelde
  • Glen Petersen
  • Ivan Navarro
  • Yuri Braham
  • Bill Kaiser
  • Andrew Beranek

Please note that because Division 2 is now unfortunately down to only 6 drivers, the driver previously allocate to Division 2 will be placed on the reserve drivers list.

There have been too many absences recently, which has made for smaller grids on the D1 broadcast.  Although this may impact a few drivers ability to race tonight, we felt this was the best course of action for the league overall. My sincere apologies to those affected drivers and for the late notice.

Should there be additional reported absences or any unreported absences (including drivers not present in the server at least 15 minutes before qualifying), drivers will be moved from the reserves list to Division 1, in order per the allocation.

Reserve drivers should monitor the Round 5 race thread closely 15 minutes before qualifying time and/or be available on team speak in case you are called up. If we can't find you we will move on to the next driver on the list.  Recent history has shown that as many as 5 drivers have been unable to make the grid at race time, so there is a possibility that most if not everyone on the reserves will still get to race.

Ivan

News on changing Division 2 to a reserve driver list can be found here.  Most unfortunate, this is.   :(
