Well this is annoying. My main pc has decided that, today of all days, it'll ignore the Cat6 Ethernet cable plugged into the back of it. I don't have a wireless solution for it (not one that seems to like Windows7 anyway) so now all I have is a really slow laptop (single core thing I only have to access servers when running leagues) that hasn't got steam on it so that means no racing until I can figure out why my PC thinks the Ethernet cable in it doesn't exist.

Hopefully I'll watch the broadcast, but not sure it'll be a good experience, this thing has struggled to type this without the odd freeze.

P14 first race, thanks to a bit of luck&crashing.

Good start for the 2nd race, I have to slow as cars go 3 wide ahead of me, someone punts and spins me off into the wall, giving me suspension damage for the rest of the race, nearly the whole race!

Thank you(Who was it?), have patience?

Otherwise, it was a good day(night), better than expected. Finally some racing for me with other people, and that's not easy with a damaged left rear suspension.

Sorry Eric, car just slowly turned and felt like giving you a hug. Because the other problem with my suspension was that my right rear tyre was on the brink of exploding :( Thus steering left(generally turning in) got quite hard with 3 laps to go as I never repaired the car.

P18 it was IIRC.

YYYYYYEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Practice:

Was struggling to find a good race setup for a long time but 1 week ahead of the event I found the charm, managing to go into the 55s, if just... :)

Q:

Good lap, 1.55.6 which gave me 3rd on the grid, which I was very happy with :D

R1:

Good start, mullered the portugese duo ahead of me to take 1st into T1.

Held it until the second to last turn were I got hit in the rear and was turned around and went down to 12th place or something like that, behind Steve at least :???:

Kept up the pace by sheer anger over getting turned around (in my opinion) and went into the pits as soon as it was possible, to get the best pace I could to get up the field.

Was keeping a good pace and soon found myself in 3rd far behind Amaral and Barbosa and with Andy closing up on me.

During the last 4-5 laps me and him had a really nice battle where I was affraid he would do a wet weather move of sticking up the nose on the inside and let me hit it when turing in :P

Was a great battle, really enjoyed it :D

Managed to just get it together over the last laps finished the first race in 3rd, which I was very happy with :D

R2:

Starting in 6th for race 2 I was hoping to be 3rd coming out of T1. I just about managed to do so, after almost going round after chopping off Ivan a bit to early, sorry for that mate :???:

Soon started haunting for Jonathan in his great livery :P and soon caught up and passed after he made a misstake at T5.

Looked forward and saw Barron a couple of seconds ahead and bent down my head and started chasing.

Coming onto L5 I noticed his tirewear was hurting him so I just kept my lines and 1 lap later I made my move into T1. Braked later and did a slight bit of 'hip&shoulder' which sent him wide. Sorry for that Matthew, hope it didn't hurt you to badly :(

Stayed there for 1 or 2 more laps and then went in just ahead of Amaral. I don't know if he missed his pit-window or something but he went out just after he had stopped which I was a bit frustrated at, thinking he was a lot quicker than me in he pits.

Went out and just burned lap after lap after lap and on L13 I realized "Oh, I'm in first    "

Had Andy a couple of seconds back and just concentrated on doing consistent laps and managed to stabalize the gap on the last lap which meant I could take my first ever TPS victory, be in D2 but it is still a victory, YA-HA!!!!

Thanks for a nice evening of racing, I didn't expect anything coming into this event so I'm very happy with how it turned out :D

Qualy - almost flipped the car entering the chicane too early, lost precious time and got 2nd 0,021 behind Barbosa!

R1- was 3rd getting to the first corner, stayed there until there was some scrapping ahead and I took advantage and got the lead, which I held with no problems till the end.

R2- Started 8th, managed to make some passes and I was behind Ivan before the chicane. While braking I was hit from behind and I hit Ivan. I was going carefully, but there was nothing I could do...anyway sorry for that. Started chasing Jonatan and Andy and closed the gap, but in the process got a stop and go, for cutting twice (!) on T5. Made the stop, next lap changed tyres and I pushed to get 3rd. Congratulations Jonatan for the win. Thanks Tps for everything.

Ace broadcast gents and it was good to see the action turned up a bit more for R2, one sour note of the night was the appearance of the evil "Speculation Elf"!!, i can now see parents across Europe telling their children "If your not good this year then we will leave the procuring of your Christmas presents to Speculation Elf".....

Another mixed feelings night for me...

Qualify: I made the pole position for a narrow difference to Pedro Amaral, the best from it, was to realize that my time, could be 10th overall in Division 1 server.

Race 1 - After a bad start I find myself in 5th position, but knowing that me and Amaral were faster then the rest of contender, neverthless I was trying to regain positions as fast as I can and when tried to put the "nose" side by side with Jonathan we touched and he had spun. Shame Mate and apologize for that if I'm guilty. After that I tried to run more cautious and after pit stops I was 2nd, 6 seconds behind Amaral, so nothing more to do just reach the finish line.

Race 2 - A better start this time soon was on 3rd and with a good pace, the guys upfront stopped early and I was able to do some good laps and after pit stop I find myself in 1st with a good advantage to 2nd. The problem was that I made a mess whenentered pits with the pit speed limiter button and was caught on speeding, so a "stop and go". Then entered pits and a new mess, because this time changed tyres and was disqualified.

Congrats to Pedro and Jonathan for both wins.

It's no worries mate. At the time I spun there I can say that I wasn't happy, which could be heard in the TS channel, sorry to the guys in there, lost my self-control a bit :?

Looking at it afterwards I feel that it might have been a bit of a Over ambitious move but no hard feelings afterwards, got a podium in that race so not angry :)

well, an interesting race for me...

got on the server with a bit more than an hour to go and no practice so didn't think i was in for a good result here.

Q: missed up the lap badley, nearly losing the car 3 times and losing 1 second at the exit of the first corner of the 3rd sector as i locked the rears up.

R1: Started well and ended up in top 3 and had a good battle with andy vandevelde for a few laps who was obviously quicker. He seemed to a bit more impatient as the race went on as he tapped the rear of the car sending me around but waited for me anyway so only lost a few seconds to chasing cars in the end. Then got another tap later on going around the 2nd to last corner which put me down in to 7th, i was sideways at the time anyway so probably not andys fault.

Did my pit stop and found the cars handling to be absolutely aweful! horrible understeer at every corner and i would have been quicker staying out on the worn tyres! It probably didn't help that i hadn't managed any practice with the car in this condition. ended up 7th.

R2: Started 2nd and with me and barron both in RWD cars we shot away from everyone else and i kept my 2nd position. then came under pressure from jonatan and was wondering whether to let him through or not when i missed my braking point for turn 5 and ran wide letting jon through. Was in front of ivan i think when my tv turned off around the middle of s2 luckily i managed to avoid contact and get going quickly enough, but was a big scare. Dropped further down the grid after pitting as my car was(again) aweful but i ended up holding barron off for 6th(?) place.

Quali went as expected. I could have been up 3 spots but small mistakes added up in total and I grid in 16th if I recall correctly. Srat to R1 was hectic. again, I am trying to find places to overtake but not put anyon in jeopardy while doing so. I get caught up in the carnage off t3 that starts with slight contact  infront of me followed by a massive error in judgement (driver unnamed for sake of peace) and send many into awful scenarios ad consequences expectedly. If you take an off, don;t try to just fly back into the fray off line and out of control folks.  car massively damaged. soldier on for points and finish P22.

R2 starting way back and drive cautiously again while hunting for opportunities. Get into a scrap with my boss and turn him around hurting us both while Rhys finds a fast way through the mess. We hammer on. I chang 2 to Rhys' 4. Rhys prevails and I finish down in the order again.

2 difficult weeks for me but still inside my goal for the seaon of being top 15 at season' conclusion. See you next year at Barber!
