ATPfast 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2012 Hello! I might be interested in the iVibe TFS3. Is it still for sale? what is your opinion of it? I am a 15 year old aspiring racing driver, and I race open-wheel formula cars. I am trying to make my sim rig as realistic as possible in order to get the most from it. Please let me know! Mayaman 399 Report post Posted May 25, 2012 I messaged you weeks ago about your other classified ad. Is this still for sale? thanks
jongtolibas 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2012 Hi Alex, Yes this is still for sale. It does work well considering the price. It certainly adds another level of realism. However, it does not compare to a GS-4 seat. But it is also 10x cheaper. Let me know if you are still interested. Hi Mayaman, I did not receive any messages from you or anybody else. It is still for sale. Thanks!
Mayaman 399 Report post Posted May 25, 2012 Jong, do you have your GS4 seat yet? Please PM me or let me know when you have it. I have some questions for you if you don't mind. I'm trying to get a GS4 and integrate it with my Dbox setup. And would love to know more about it. thanks
jongtolibas 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2012 I just received my GS-4 yesterday. I have not tested it yet ... planning to fully test it out sometime next week.
hasido 0 Report post Posted June 16, 2012 I have been looking into buying this seat. However, I have not read too many reviews about it from users. How is the seat?
jongtolibas 0 Report post Posted June 16, 2012 insidesimracing had preview of it here: It works quite well for what you pay for it. I have tried both with ISI based sim titles (rFactor, GSC, ARCA) and iRacing. Works well with those titles.
hasido 0 Report post Posted June 17, 2012 Hi, Thank for your reply. I was looking at both the Ivibe and Gs4. How is the Gs-4 ultraforcesim seat? Is it easy to set up and does it meet your expectations. Any information you have please share. There are rarely any user reviews for the Gs-4. Thank you! jongtolibas 0 Report post Posted June 17, 2012 GS-4 seat works really well. It is more expensive but performance is a lot more as well compared to iVibe ... again you get what you pay for. I think currently it only works with iRacing but support for ISI based titles (rFactor, etc...) is soon available. With iRacing, it automatically detects track/car combination and you can customize forces settings per combination. The seat is also very well made, very durable. The seat cover is a little thin, for some it is ok, for me I would replace it. There are tons of rave reviews of GS-4 but it is in iRacing forum. So if you are not an iRacing member you will not be able to see them. But I can assure you they are all possitive.
hasido 0 Report post Posted June 18, 2012 Hi Jongtolibas, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I am looking forward to buying the Gs-4 seat. I think the ivibe is cool, but I may end up like you upgrading later so why not do it now. The seat cover does look pretty thin. Maybe it is possible to velcro some padding onto the paddles for cushion. Hey, I was also wondering if you bought the seat with the transducer. If I have a buttkicker already, do you think i need it? hasido
jongtolibas 0 Report post Posted June 19, 2012 Hi hasido, not sure of the buttkicker but I put a Clark Synth TST-239 transducer and it even adds more to the experience. I would highly recommend adding a transducer too. Jong

Mayaman 399 Report post Posted September 17, 2012 Hows the GS4 after a few months. I'm almost ready to pull the trigger on this but the seat is killing it for me. I can't stand the way it looks and it doesn't look like it works with five point harness I use with my Dbox.
jongtolibas 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2012 I highly recommend the GS-4 seat. We actually ordered 14 more units for use in our upcoming race center business. The only thing we changed is the seat cover which we had customized with better paddings and custom company logo. The seat can also be ordered with a harness if desired. We also ordered the 14 units with black anodized color as an option. I presonally didn't like the look of the seat at first too, but when I received it, it actually looks good. -Jong

jongtolibas 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2012 Hi John, Our website is here: http://www.iracecenter.com and facebook page is here: https://www.facebook.com/iRaceCenter I have actually talked to Darin before regarding a visit during our grand opening. We'll send out an invite when ready. Thanks, Jong
Mayaman 399 Report post Posted September 18, 2012 Great thanks for the pics, do you have any others with your custom seat covers? I am wanting to change the color as well to black, how much more where these seats over the stock seat? Do you think I could transfer the electronics of this to my Sparco EvoII seat? I love that seat, not crazy about the Kirkey design. thanks
jongtolibas 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2012 Unfortunately I don't have pics right now with the custom seat cover. I think we paid about $2.3K for each seat. Additional cost went to anodizing, plus upgrade on commercial grade parts. Not sure if you can transfer the electronics directly. You can probably ask ultraforcesim if they can make a custom one using different seat. -Jong
Mayaman 399 Report post Posted September 18, 2012 Ok so about $300 more per seat. Not an issue, but I'd love to be able to use the Sparco Evo II. Also need to figure out how to have a seat cover made and how to integrate this with my dbox. Thanks
Cheeba 35 Report post Posted September 30, 2012 Here are some pics of the black GS-4 Thanks for posting these. Info on this seat is scarce if you are not on iRacing. Didn't know you could get it in black as I think that's what I would want. Really interested in seeing the custom seat covers you have since that is one area I think the seat is lacking. Interested in how comfortable the seat is after long sessions. Good to see support for others Sims as well.
jongtolibas 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2012 Yes, you can get them in different colors now. Here is a red one: The custom seat cover is not from ultraforcesim though ... a local car upholster did it for us. We don't have official photos for now but will post it later once we have available.
