gumby 0 Report post Posted February 12, 2012 Just to clarify is this the classic boot or regular boot config? You have it listed as classic boot but show a picture for the boot course with bus stop.
jcousland 0 Report post Posted February 12, 2012 The schedule shows "Classic Boot". I'd expect that is correct...
jcousland 0 Report post Posted February 12, 2012 Now I'm also confused as the schedule above reads "Classic Boot" which is w/o the bus stop and the schedule on iLeague site reads "Boot" which would imply with bus stop.

Ted Severns 1 Report post Posted February 21, 2012 The SSCA Prototypes headed to the cornfields of Lexington, Ohio to do battle at the 2.4 mile 13 turn twisty at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. The 35 lap sprint race, the second race for the SSCA in the 2012 Season 1 session was a flag to flag victory for German Afanador of vApex Racing. German led all 35 laps but the race was not your typical walk in the park. Fuel strategy for the HPD cars was quite important as the Honda powerplants were quite thirsty around the Mid-Ohio circuit. German had to short shift for quite a bit at the end of the race, but was still fast enough to win by 40 seconds over Troy Harder who actually ran out of fuel crossing the finish line. The bronze medal went to Antonio Giovani Dias who passed Howard McMillion on the last laps when Howard Ran out of fuel himself. First place in the Riley Daytona Prototypes went to Scott McDonough who ran a flawless race in taking the victory. I know it was flawless as I followed him around the track for the entire race running my own flawed fuel strategy race. Second place went to John Cousland and Josh Hammett of vApex Racing rounded out the podium. The overriding theme of the race was once again, respect for your fellow driver and excellent communication between the classes. This series has gotten off to a fantastic start with its first two races with some truly fun racing. Next Sunday, the series heads to the Ardennes Forest, and the magnificent Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium. Hope to see you all there. moto67e 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2012 The SSCA Prototype Championship Series headed to Sebring international race course for the 5th round of the series.
