Thanks, I was asked if I would break it up and I will if I can cover most of the equipment. I may be parting with a RennSport Cockpit as well.

If I am to break it up, the buttkicker has been already requested.

Paid for the ECCI wheel today, can't wait to get it. Just ordered my Obutto yesterday, now I just need a quality set of pedals. This should be a good setup for a rookie in sim racer!

Do yourself a favor & order a Cockpit bottom bracket mounting kit from ECCI ( http://ecci6000.com/proddetail.asp?prod ... -2&from=11 ) . I have this kit on all of my Trackstar wheel's . It allows you to mount the wheel with 2 bolts in the front , 2 bolts that go through the rubber feet on the rear adjusting leg & you can adjust the angle of the wheel !!! ( http://www.ecci.net/instructions/CockpitBracket2.htm )

I have my Trackstar 6000 wheel/2 pedal set with Race Brake Stage 2 mounted to the older Obutto & it is GREAT !!! I have been racing like this for a couple of years now . I even had my older ECCI CDS4000 wheel ( 40 lbs ) bolted to the Obutto for about 2 years prior to the Trackstar 6000 with no probelms !!!

I think that you are going to Love them both !!!

What pedals are you looking at ? I would recommend the ECCI Trackstar 6000 pedals ( http://ecci6000.com/6000_pedal_01.htm ) if you can afford them . They are built like a tank & you can replace the pots if you need to . CST pedals (http://www.cannonsimulationtechnologies.com/ ) are Awesome as well & if you contact Chris with Obutto he can help you with how to mount them in a hanging bracket just like a real car . The Fanatec Club Sport pedals are a Wonderful choice , but I don't see them on the web store at the moment ( http://www.fanatec.de/webshop/new_usa/i ... 7aab15e51e ).

The only probelm that I have had is when I had a set of ECCI Trackstar 6000 3 pedal's mounted ( gas , brake & clutch ) . It is a bit tight for my taste , they will fit but it was a bit awkard for me using the brake . I brake with my left foot while accelerating , I found myself twisting to the right somewhat . The 2 pedal setup is more comfortable to me .

Good Luck !!!

Thanks oldschoolsq, for the first hand experience. I am running a little low on cash right now, buying everything for your first sim rig adds up fast. I think I am a little over 2k already and I don't even have pedals! Oh well it is cheaper than my fish keeping hobby and way cheaper than having a show or race car, and it keeps me home with my family. I was nervous about my feet being cramped especially since I wear a size 14 and have trouble in real cars.

I ordered that cockpit mount, and wanted to thank everyone on this site who has helped out and or offered suggestions. I think I would have spent a lot more with out you guys/gals.

LUCKY!!!!

I was very lucky to get this wheel for this price. Thanks again to fanofthebox, shipped the system out quickly and with tracking number, just like he said he would. Seamless transaction, he answered the questions I had quickly, and I would recommend purchasing from him anytime. I am set to receive the wheel on Thurs, the Obutto on Friday, and I think I may have found a track star 6000(3 pedal) system, that hopefully I can purchase tomorrow.

Received my Ecci Wheel today just as promised. Packaged very nicely and very quick shipping. Michael was great to work with, answered all my questions and shipped very quickly. I do not have pedals or my CPU built yet so no game play, but I am very excited to try it out.

Thanks again,

Josh
