Shaun Cole 10 Report post Posted December 15, 2011 There is a very cool online race/event that is about to take place on iRacing. And this event will be broadcast live with our very own Darin Gangi calling the shots along with Tim Terry. This event features a field of real life drivers competing online against each other in both road and oval racing. You can watch it live fromk PSRTV at our iRacing DWC page here: http://www.isrtv.com/pages/section/iRacing-DWC To see the entire details of the event you can read about it at InRacing News: http://www.iracing.com/inracingnews/ira ... wednesday/
LuckieStryke 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2011 This was a great event. Nice job by iRacing and a great lineup of drivers. Nice job by DG in the commentary booth too. Oh, and welcome back ISR, Darin. Cheers!

John G. Hill 10 Report post Posted December 15, 2011 Tim Terry is a Canadian, eh? Lol. Broadcast went pretty well, until the loss of racing footage about 3/4 of the way. Somebody was frantically trying to get the picture back and we were able to see it. Also cars started lagging near the end, jumping about and disappearing. Same thing happened to the last broadcast I watched on iRacing, (The F1 race at Spa). Is that my computer giving up on all the data, or is something else going on? Would have been nice if the broadcast had cut to head shots of the real drivers when being referred to. I think for some drivers, the shame of them doing poorly and under prepared for this event will provide incentive to do better for their next iRacing Pro event. Next time, better advance notice from iRacing hopefully and cleaner driving by the pros. Still, great fun to watch.
