We've seen that motion rig running with Forza 4 a few times, but no one has actually talk about it. Is that something that was jury rigged for the trade shows? Is it something that we can duplicate at home? Obviously, the game is capable of generating telemetry data for such a setup. It would be a shame if such capability was wasted due to either Microsoft mandate or to hardware limitations.

Yeah it's been incredibly disappointing to read comments from Dan that while he reads the Forza (and other) forums, he doesn't take those views much into account as they "collect data" from all the "other" players out there doing other things like abusing the rewind system and turning all the assists on. He seems to be oblivious that the most ardent Forza fans who are the most vocal on forums, who race in car clubs, and have played since Forza 1 etc, are exactly the fans he should be paying more attention to as they helped build the franchise.

Although he claims that Forza 4 hasn't been completely dumbed down, at the very least it is clear that it has affected the amount of time and focus spent on the simulation racing aspects of the game. We really don't need kinect hands free stupidity or more toy boy ricerz playing like it's a smash derby. If he wants to appeal to those type of gamers then for crying out loud provide decent multiplayer lobbies where we can move those gamers into their own races of multiplayer stupidity.

I really hope the new AI is up to snuff, as the AI in Forza 3 was quite woeful.
