XiCynx 2 Report post Posted April 17, 2020 Hello, I'm looking into the future to see what my next logical choice might be for pedals. I don't really have good sources on where to look for this information, so if someone has something, it would sure be appreciated to share it. I current have a Thrustmaster TS-PC Racer Wheel and Thrustmaster T3PA Pro Pedals. I bought the pedal off of someone on here and unfortunately they weren't in exactly the condition I thought they were going to be in (slightly bent metal bracket and some of the screws don't fit.) and it's starting to show it's wear. So I'm wondering what the next logical step should be for an upgrade to these pedal. I don't have a small budget, but I also don't want to get blown out of the water. I do some iRacing Sprint Cars and Nascar, as well as some more arcade-y type games. I would say something within the $300-$400 range would suffice at most. Thanks in advance for your response! Ruttman98 3 Report post Posted April 17, 2020 Do you sim race on console or PC? If PC, the pedal connection will be via USB rather than through your wheelbase. The Fanatec ClubSport V.3 pedals are the best bet for your budget. You might also want to look at Fanatec's pedal accessories which allow greater customization of pedal effort. If you are racing on a console, you will be limited to Thrustmaster pedals connected through your wheelbase. Thrustmaster has introduced a load cell pedal as well. Good luck and Godspeed! 1 XiCynx reacted to this
XiCynx 2 Report post Posted April 19, 2020 Thanks! It is through PC so I don't have to go through the wheelbase. I'll take a look at the Clubsport and their accessories and see what I can come up with. The pedals I have now have a richmotech* load cell plate in it currently. Ruttman98 3 Report post Posted April 19, 2020 I have the Club Sport pedals version 2. Fanatec in now on version 3. Many people dislike the Fanatec feel and step up to Heuskinveld Sprints for 2x more cost. I don't have enough experience one way or the other, but the adjustabilty of the Sprints is appealling. Then there are these . . . http://meca-sim-hardware.com/products/ The Meca Cup pedals set from CZ is a recent newcomer. For me, it's an intriguing high quality pedal set which appears to be in some ways superior to the Heuskinvelds for significantly less money. Look for Barry Rowland's Sim Racing Garage review on YouTube.
SergioCarr 22 Report post Posted October 23, 2020 Yes, for that budget the V3 are the best option.
