TX Base with T300 rim? For Xbox One use

2 posts in this topic

I've decided to purchase an Xbox One S during this Black Friday but I am in need of a XB1-compatible wheel.  I already bought the T300RS GT edition (with T3PA) for my PS4, and now I'm asking the following question.

Will the combination of the T300RS rim mounted onto the TX Servo base work on the Xbox One?  Furthermore, will the wheel's buttons and shifter paddles work?    If this does, then I would only need to purchase the servo base and just re-use my existing rim and pedals.

If this combination does not work, then I will be purchasing the full TX Leather Edition set.

Late to the show but for those wondering, Short answer, yes.

I have a TX base that came with the cheaper Ferrari 458 wheel and picked up a T300 rim for rally. It's a little tricky remembering which PS button does what sometimes but most buttons get mapped anyway. I can't be certain but i think I remember the TX recognizing the T300, when plugged into pc.

Too bad you couldn't have done it the other way around and gone with the TX leather edition package, then got a T300 base. Both rims are the same size but the T300 rim is rubberized as opposed to leather. Also note that you cannot buy the leather edition rim that comes with the TX base by itself. The TM leather edition rim you can purchase as an add-on has multicolored buttons while the leather rim that comes with the base has black buttons with colored xbox lettering.

As for pedals, any TM pedals should work fine. I run Fanatec Clubsport V1's with a CPX V2 adapter for console.

First i would check and see if Drivehub enables you to use the T300 with XBox.

I know there are adapters but some don't fully function, leaving you without any ffb.
