G29 uk plug in the rest of Europe

12 posts in this topic

Hi!

So, my patiance with ThrustMaster run out and i got tired of replacing T300 gtes for new ones that are always coming faulty ( 3 in a row already) and i'm thinking about buying a G29, that is the only option below 400 euros. ( T150 is also Thrustmaster, so no thanks )

I found a nice price amazon.uk, but my problem is that i'm in Portugal and the amazon uk G29 plug in a UK plug 230v triple pin and in Portugal is 220V double pin.

Do i only need an adaptor or do i need a converter?

Thanks in advance!

You don`t need adapter for the voltage, you need only adapter for the pins, they are very cheap around 1 euro - UK to EU,another thing is that the power linewith the plug  is removable from the brick and you can change it with EU one.

The price got lower a few days back in Amazon.es but I didn't bought it yet. Don't think I will.

The deadzone in the center is getting me off... also the not so smooth ffb but that's not a big problem. The dead zone is, So for 230 euros I feel it's still over priced.

If I can get it with exchange and delivery rates below 200 euros, I'll get it.

I paid 230 for my t300 with no deadzone and better FFB, and you can get it now for 270. Still cancerous wheel dough. All the 3 I had were cancerous...

So I'm more inclined to the t150 for 170 bucks (I'll wait a bit too see if the price gets lower ) and pray it will last a full year, as it's from Thrustmaster...

Cause I'll go to Fanatec in the end of the year. Below that, there's nothing that won't brake after 3 days or with better than over priced 15 years old technology with getting off issues.

I'm in doubt on t150 pro, or g29 ... T150 pro for 200 €, has better ffb, but worse construction. The g29 has better construction and seems more reliable ... Maybe if you get the g29 for a price similar to t150, I'm going to g29

My problem with the g29 is the deadzone...

There's nothing reliable or that give a nice feeling below 500 dollars.... :/

But I'm in the same boat as you. Not so much for the t150 pro, cause I don't intent to keep this wheel for long.

Já decidiste algum volante? Eu provavelmente só devo comprar algum daqui a cerca de dois meses, mas continuo com algumas dúvidas...

Have you bought a steering wheel? I probably should only buy some in about two months, but I still have some doubts ...
