fquick 0 Report post Posted May 7, 2016 So i just received mine in the mail, decent gear. However, it's super uncomfortable due to the way the pedals are angled up. My setup is as follows: - Fanatec CSW - Fanatec Clubsport V3 Pedals If I add wood to the front of the pedals (1"), it's much more comfortable, although it's far from elegant. Is there any other way I can get the pedals to lay more flat on this?
Jeremy.Ford 108 Report post Posted May 7, 2016 Have you fully explored adjusting the pedal plate at different distances along with the seat backrest angle? Sometimes that's all you need to get it feel right. Otherwise you'll have to come up with some creative modding as the pedal on the plate is indeed fixed. Using wood is how I'd go about it too. Once you've worked it all out, you can tidy it all up and spray paint wood black to go with the pedals.
fquick 0 Report post Posted May 7, 2016 Yea, I have a fixed seat-back and putting the pedal plate out more isn't any less awkward. I tried googling for various rubber wedges, platforms, etc. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find something to platform into a ramp that's 1" tall. Seems wood is the easiest.
