Aus_James 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2016 Is it a potentiometer? I have an issue with my G25 shifter. In 1st gear, it can sometimes find neutral and if I move it to the right, it goes into 3rd gear. Same in 2nd, finding neutral and move to the right finds 4th. Is this a known issue? Worn out pot? Worn out pot? likely check this : opem slowly and take you time and clean then pots with isopropanol and /or WD40 https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Logitech+G27+Shifter+Potentiometer+Replacement/42378 but i still need the part numbers if someone can help... Aus_James 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2016 Thanks for that but it turned out to be even easier. On the shifter shaft inside the housing, there are two hex screw/bolts that screw into the shaft. These lock the shaft into place in either 1st/2nd gear or 5th/6th/reverse gears. One was loose. Simply tightened up and now the shifter has no slop in those gears and holds gears great.
