Is the G29 worth £99?

There are still some near me, thought about picking one up buy everyone keeps saying this wheel sucks... is it worth £99 at least? I did have a Thrustmaster T300 but it died, I took it back under warranty and it died again out of warranty with lots of smoke coming out of it. So I'm never buying Thrustmaster again, but will the G29 feel like a major downgrade? If the Force Feedback still strong? Seems like the only other option is Fanatic, but having bought a new Motorcycle, it's out of my price range for a year or so.
