rFactor Enduracers mod SP1 and SNL Le Mans track ?

7 posts in this topic

I been doing a lot on seat time in an Audi R10 at SNL Le Mans track . It's the Endurance SP1 mod from Enduracers. I done many car settings and configs, extremely low down force and med down force and hi down force along with many adjustments but I just can not get any time below 3:30. Even the AI driver can not break the 3:30 mark with the car. In GTR2 I can run in the 3:25-28 range. The RL drivers in the diesel cars can get to the 3:22-24 range. My PB is 3:31 with this mod in the R10, just curious what others times are with this mod on the SNL Le Mans track. I hope I am not that bad of a driver.

Also I can not get the tyre temps over 200f regardless what settings I tried. In ILMS mod I can easy get tyre temps of 200-210 +.

ADD: with some real aggressive thresh hold braking at the pt of just wheel lock since rF does not account for tyre flat spotting ;) , I was able drop to 3:30's. I may be able eventually to drop 1-2 secs more but not the 6-8 secs to match the RL drivers tho...

I did some searching on some lap times. As I understand it, the R10's are about that much slower (7 or 8 secs) than the R15's. Your times are right on the Q times for Le Mans for the R10's form the last couple years. Where did you see the R10's going that fast?

McNish mention the time in Truth in 24 Audi doc. :?:

After 2008 I think there were major rule changes that slowed the R10's. Your times are right almost dead on the 2009/2010 R10 times. I'm not sure exactly what year the mod bases its car performance on, but they have graphics for the wing changes for each year (06-09). I have been at work so I can't try it, but perhaps this changes things.

the R10 I am using is the the LM08 Audi Sport North America LMP1 in SP1. I am assuming they are the year that they represented by their year designation in SP1. So far i find all of them perform about the same. They just have some cosmetic diffs. Even the Peugeot 908s are not as fast as their RL counterparts from my limited testing.

There goes my theory. If I ever get home (I am still at work  ) I am going to have some fun trying to beat your time.

Were you using the 2004 SNL track? That was the only one I could find. If so the layout to the dunlop bridge was changed a bit, shortening the track in 2007. Might account for some of the time you're missing. Just a shot in the dark.
