Tinker 15 Report post Posted January 20, 2011 Looks real nice. Is it possible to have the mounting holes for both a G25 and G27 on the same plate. Also can the 6 bolt 70mm spacing mounting holes be added to support other wheels like MOMO, SPARCO and OMP that use the common 70mm spacing 6 bolt pattern on the plate. BTW what is the plate made of? Is CF film already applied ? What is the cost for just the plate with no electronics ?
jr1414 3 Report post Posted January 20, 2011 Looks very nice. I assume that there is a backplate on the unit, and it's just shown open here to show routing of wires, etc. I'd be interested, but I'd also need to know where you found that coiled mini USB to USB female cord, that's pretty nice and a necessity for this application. Do search on e-bay for a coiled USB cable that will work with Garmin GPS units. I bought four of them. The ones I got were mini male USB (SLI-pro side) to male USB (PC side). I just use and USB extender cable to reach the PC.
ProjektONE 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2011 I'm interested if these are still available. Email sent.
jr1414 3 Report post Posted April 4, 2011 I highly recommend one of these. I have one on my wheel now, and the build quality is excellent! Martin and Robert are wonderful to deal with, true gentlemen, and they made my whole experience a pleasure. The newer CF is much better, it looks the goods. BTW, is that my tachbox in the photos? Brett 0 Report post Posted August 18, 2011 Hey guys I'm really interested in one of these for my G27... not having a lot of experiences with these electronics how hard are they to put together (including the SLI-pro modules) I'd like to find something that's complete (minus the wheel hehe). Any ideas would be appreciated

Gunstar 615 Report post Posted August 12, 2013 All this awesome work and you use a g27... First of all, old post, it was from 2 years ago. Second of all, why not a G27? There are probably more G27's out there than the CSW and T500 combined... and doubled!

There are probably more G27's out there than the CSW and T500 combined... and doubled! Sure but if someone spends 400 dollars on this you would think he would get a better wheel first. I got the g25 myself btw.
Gunstar 615 Report post Posted August 12, 2013 I understand that, but G27 users have shown that they will do some wild mods... Perfect Pedal, ARC upgrades, ect. In fact, the low entry cost (not to mention mass market availability and compatibility) plus the wealth of mods available is probably a big factor in keeping the G27 relevant all these years. Dino Negali 3 Report post Posted December 19, 2013 Bit of a thread revival here, but I'm just a noobie. I agree with Gunstar's comment - I've gone for a G27 setup on my home built rig, simply because I'm looking forward to tinkering and modding so I don't want/need to start with a high end wheel.
