WOOHOO! they hit 80%. That means VR/Occulus support, dynamic track and a couple more cars.

I am really excited about the Copa Montana. It is pretty much the holden V8 utes they race here in New Zealand and Australia.

I was just watching this interesting interview with Rubens Barricahello talking about Game Stock Car. It is in subtitles but it is really interesting. He talks about the virtual racing league that he races in and also how his sons use Game Stock Car as training for real world karts.

I like that part when he said his son got upset when he told him that he wanted to use his rig, so he brought his son a rig of his own, then his youngest son did the same so he had to buy a third rig. It sounds like an awesome family of racers, both in the virtual world and real world.

Beta keys have been sent out to anyone who donated enough.

It is a stand alone install done through steam. So you can have you normal build of GSCE and then run the beta side by side.

Dev forum is up also.

They are up to 89% now. One more percent and it unlocks a car and track picked by the backers as well as a Custom offline championship tool; art pass + additional shader development to boost graphics;

If they can hit 100% then we also get the Honda Civic (Marcas), New Formula 3 Brasil models and new track layouts for existing tracks.

It's the core engine updates that by far excite me most and I'm so glad to see Reiza are at 90% now!

Features / Improvements: Support for long distance races; Automatic steering ratio adjustment + Increased maximum controller inputs from 3 to 6; various fixes to existing issues & minor improvements to physics, AI, rules.
V1.37 beta (including Modern Montreal & SuperV8) is being uploaded as we speak and will be made available to backers from level 2 upwards shortly. The devforum is also being set up for all backers - information regarding both will be submitted to backers´ emails shortly.
The official rooms for public multiplayer racing are also live now, and are the base for the structure we intend to develop - more info about it here.

The above thus is what is already CONFIRMED as upcoming additions.

Below is the cumulative breakdown of what can still be added to this list, according to the funding level achieved when the campaign wraps up:

If we hit 70%:
Cars: Formula V10, Supertrucks;
Tracks: Additional & longer Foz layouts, Supertruck layouts for existing tracks;
Features / Improvements:  New UI & HUD system, drivetrain physics development to demand more realistic gear-shifting;

If we hit 80%:
Cars: Copa Montana, Renault Fluence (Marcas);
Tracks: Interlagos update to 2015 version;
Features / Improvements: VR support (including Rift DK2); tire damage & dirt pickup; dynamic track conditions (rubber build up on the racing line & marbles offline based on vehicle interaction);

If we hit 90%:
Bonus car & track (as chosen via voting by backers)
Features / Improvements: Custom offline championship tool; art pass + additional shader development to boost graphics;

If we hit 100%:
Cars: Honda Civic (Marcas), New Formula 3 Brasil models;
Tracks: Extra layouts to existing tracks;
Features / Improvements: To be confirmed.
Keep in mind the breakdown above is an estimation,  rather than a plan set in stone - it will remain subject to tweaks according to further feedback from backers and other circumstances.

Also important to remember that all backers from Level 2 & upwards will receive early beta access to these developments before they are included in the official releases.

I'm hoping we can put lots of pressure on the 3 USB device limitation during this development phase now that we have a fast track route to the developers.  Just waiting for the right section to appear on the forum then I will be asking for work on this area.  I think it's the thing that stops most people using the game.

Yes, this is one of the things that I am really looking forward to. ISI increased the limit from 3 to 6 controllers in rF1 when they moved over to Steam so it doesn't seem like it would be too hard.

It was in the list of new features that they confirmed at 60%

This and the ability to adjust degrees of rotation for each car in game.  The whole jumping out into the Thrustmaster controller every time I want to switch cars gets old.

Another update from Reiza. They must be really pumped with how well the crowd funding went. I can't wait to see all the new content coming out.

Still a few days to contribute. I wonder how far they will go past 100%

Update 10 - We made it!

101% and still going strong!

A very special thank you to everyone who has contributed (and may still contribute!) towards making this campaign successful. The incredible enthusiasm we have witnessed towards our work is as big a boost to our team as the funding itself.

We assure you all there will be no efforts spared towards justifying your vote of confidence!

So awesome that they passed their target.  Really excited to be a part of this.  Can't wait to see the GSCE extra content... and especially the new game coming late next year.  Woo!

Happy they made their target... they do deserve it. As they have done a lot to continue improving their sim and it is nice to see that the community recognizes it and are paying it back.

Now in saying all of that... I have been playing the beta, is there a way to enable sim commander with the beta?

You should be able to create a new game profile and change the steam app ID. I will download the beta tonight and post a screenshot with the settings.
