Hectorton 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2014 On a number of racing/flying simulator rigs I have seen what appear to be matte black poster board attached to the top, sides, and on occasion the bottom of the monitors. I imagine their purpose is to concentrate the drivers focus on the displays by blocking distractions in the peripheral view. I am in the process of building my first three monitor racing rig and would like to incorporate the backdrop in the triple monitor stand. Can anyone provide information on where to purchase or how to make? Any information would be appreciated. Regards.

I bought 2 yards of black material for my backdrop. Just make sure you don't cover any vents, and you don't have it get pinched between any plugs and recepticles. Fire safety first. Hectorton 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2014 Thank you very much for the infor and links. I was going crazy trying to find something in the forum on the subject but could not. The keyword was hood which makes more sense. I was searching under backdrop. Again thank you.
