How to prevent Wheel Stand Pro sliding on laminate floor?

9 posts in this topic

Any good tips how to prevent this sliding movement when braking? I'm using Basherboard brake mod (one red and one purple bushing) and when I'm braking wheel stand starts moving forward. Laminate floor is quite slippery. I have looked also under rubber parts which are against floor and they are ok. Do you have any stoppers to increase friction? My pedals are F1 position.

HI Bloodycut, I won't cut the pipes down myself. I would do just what Andrew_WOT said to do, with that carpet gripping stuff and just set the Wheel Stand Pro on it and IT Won't move under regulator braking.

Just add a little bit new information...I add car rubber mat of car under stand and now I could at least put two purple bushings under brake pedal. I like hardcore braking. At curves it helps a lot when it's necessary to brake shortly. Sadly there is no available Bodin's  load cell mod at a moment.

Next tip: put door stoppers under front rubbers. Works for me. I have also rubber carpet. Wheel stand pro bolts are going to loose sometimes and I gotta tighten them. Hardcore braking with DSD pedals do this. Should I buy next wheel stand or cockpit? What do you suggest?
