Paul GT73 1,398 Report post Posted October 28, 2014 got my G27 back from my nephew today as he don't use it. its been a couple of years but age has had no effect, still a little beauty, i was going to use it for an f1 style rig for the oculus but man I don't remember it being so small, not sure if I will use this now so don't know what I am going to do with it, I was going to keep it around for nostalgic reasons but I think I would prefer if it went to a good home, this could be up for sale soon. Paul Heijmans 226 Report post Posted October 28, 2014 Why not keep it as a backup wheel??
Paul GT73 1,398 Report post Posted October 28, 2014 could do, is there any possibility it will work on ps4 or is that a confirmed no?
UNKLE 1,429 Report post Posted October 28, 2014 Maybe try adding a custom wheel on it first that will work on your other wheels at some point.
UNKLE 1,429 Report post Posted October 28, 2014 If there is anyone who might be able to get it to work on the PS4 it will be basherboards, might be worth asking him that question.
Paul GT73 1,398 Report post Posted October 28, 2014 wont want to spend too much, how much is an adapter? could I then just slap an aftermarket f1 rim on it? I wouldn't want any buttons on it.

UNKLE 1,429 Report post Posted October 28, 2014 What type a wheel you interested in? knock off, d shaped wheel, open wheel, general purpose round 300/320mm wheel
UNKLE 1,429 Report post Posted October 28, 2014 I always liked the look of these but couldn't find any sold here in the US and the dollar conversion and shipping wasn't favourable, but since you live in the UK they look to be a good deal: http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/index.php?cPath=82_1887_1899 I especially like the RMD D Shaped 320mm wheel. It looks a lot like the equivalent MOMO mod 30 wheel. You could easily replace the horn button to make it look like a really nice more expensive wheel. Paul GT73 1,398 Report post Posted October 28, 2014 gotta say I prefer the paddle shift on the g27 over the bmw rim, stronger sprung and more precise click.
UNKLE 1,429 Report post Posted October 28, 2014 I've read a few reviews over on iRacing who are loving their V2 - FFB is supposed to be better than a TX (from someone who owns both) so I assume also better than a T500. Let's hope it holds out reliability wise for the vast majority. Here's another knock off wheel at a good price you could try: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal-Car-Racing-Steering-Wheel-PU-Leather-Sport-F1-JDM-Auto-Black-ET12/221565700378?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D26949%26meid%3D071f263fc35d458ab11adb0dc567a7d3%26pid%3D100005%26prg%3D11185%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D251589272379&rt=nc They cover over the Sparco writing only in the picture
