Tinker 15 Report post Posted February 11, 2011 Second generation of wheel plate by CV. 1st pic the two top bottom encoders buttons are pretty close to the wheel spoke, Lucky they are raised up due to the longer center post of the encoders and they work clearing the spoke. 2nd pic just to show NO more wiring mess behind the plate . I wished I would have gotten some shrink wrap instead of using elect tape to hold the two sets of wiring exiting from the plate (one for the SLI-Pro USB and the other for the FREX Seg shifter attached to the SLI-Pro). Tinker 15 Report post Posted February 16, 2011 Updated back side cables. Two cables lead into the plate to the SLI-Pro. The coiled one is the one is a mini USB that connects and powers all the SLI-Pro stuff, the one with the mini stereo jack is to connect the FREX seq shifter to the SLI-Pro. So I have to connect the USB to an extender USB cable to reach the PC and then "jack" in the shifter connection.

Tinker 15 Report post Posted February 17, 2011 So have you reached the Frex wheel cost mark with all of these yet? Actually i did contemplated the FREX , but they only rec wheels sizes up to 300mm. I might look into the ECCI FFB and maybe the T500RS (after more pple have reviewed it first). For now I am just waiting on the G27 to come in.
Tinker 15 Report post Posted March 28, 2011 The OMP wheel was not exactly as picture or model. It's an OMP wheel tho. It's 350mm size. I tried it for a month and I went back to the MOMO. The OMP metal spokes seems thin (thickness) when compared to the MOMO. Just looking at the metal thickness the MOMO metal is thicker then the OMP. With the thinner metal of the OMP and being a larger diam wheel, there is a some perceived flex while the MOMO has none, but then the OMP is 350mm and the MONO is a 320mm. Also the OMP grip is round and feels not as thick (beefy) as the MOMO which is a slight oval. So I went back to using the MOMO wheel.

Tinker 15 Report post Posted April 3, 2011 You should sell these plates. I'd buy one or two. If you a referring to me, I do not make these. There is a person that makes wheels and plates that I have contact to. He makes great stuff out of plexi. Currently he is in the process of moving and still trying to catch up with some back ordered wheels and plates. He is back order for a couple of months from I what I know until he gets his shop up and running fully. His prices are very reasonable and a great guy to deal with. Here is link to a site where he posts. http://www.racedepartment.com/sim-racin ... stems.html
