Tho_Rag89 1 Report post Posted September 1, 2014 I currently have a Lenovo H330 with 8GB RAM, 1TB Hard Drive, Intel i3 and running the standard Intel HD 2000 graphics. Would this do to run iracing? It'll have a wired internet connection running at an average of 70mbs. Also on windows 7. I have looked at a "PC Specialist" Vortex Cyclone, specific gaming PC that runs - Intel i5, windows 8.1, 8GB RAM, 1TB Hard Drive and an Nvidia GeForce GTX750Ti. priced at £750. My current PC is about 2 years old, i'll be running a 720p 32" to start though may go upto either a triple 32" full 1080p screen setup or a single large 1080p screen probably around 40". Would my current PC do or the other PC i've mentioned be ok for running Iracing?
Darin Gangi 1,074 Report post Posted September 1, 2014 The first PC you mentioned may just run iRacing. Im not sure how well an Intel graphics card will do though. With a decent AMD or NVidia graphics card, that system would get the job done. The second PC should do really well running a single monitor.
Tho_Rag89 1 Report post Posted September 1, 2014 Awesome thank you Darin. I have the budget for the second PC but if i can get away with my current one i'll run that. I'll look up some graphics cards. Thanks for the advice. Love the show, info, reviews, interviews etc. Best place for Sim Racing info. Should be hopefully the next month or two I'll have my rig setup with Rseat and Fanatec gear. Hopefully see you somewhere in the sim world on track.
