Agreed with the Logitech G27, it's the best sim racing bang for the buck. Well worth saving a little more for.

If there are still stores that carry the Logitech DFGT (Driving Force GT), it would be priced below $200, decent wheel, but the pedals aren't the greatest.

My suggestion: save up a little more for the G27, not to mention you can buy 3rd party parts to enhance both the wheel and the pedals.

Good luck and welcome to Sim racing :)

Take care

I concur, G27 for that budget. Check the forum sale section as you may find someone upgrading or someone who bought equipment and didn't use it which could put it within your budget.

The G27 has the added value of being very popular and as such, some upgrades (like Load Cells for the pedals) are available and many users have made mods (like quick release wheel changes and button plates) which could extend it's usefulness in the future.

The G27 is a great all round wheel for a newcomer or not. plenty of mods you can do from load cells to using real wheel rims if you plan on going down that room later on. I owned a G27 then moved to the T500rs both are great wheels :)

CHEERS! :D
