And I was just saying that if the Season Pass went to 50% off I'll pick it up.  Good thing I got paid today. 

 

And yeah... it's really enjoyable for a single player experience.  AI is good fun to battle with in my opinion.  The race weekend is really detailed, practice, qualifying and races that are unique to each dicpiline (eg. touring cars do 2 races each event, second race is reverse grid of the first race results).  Also the real-time communication to the pit wall, and choosing your teammates driving style, is pretty cool idea.

online is good as well. A wheel and pedals needed for sure, unless you are THAT good with a controller.

its a game that runs across consoles and pc, so yes its slighty arcade to the extent that the tires in game are preset temperature, and lack of fine adjustment. However, you still have to "drive" the cars and they react like tyres locking up, wheel spin, back end sliding out more.

Its not Race 07 style sim, but that would be the next sort of game above autosport.
