Hello, just checking in here. I have been reading the forum for awhile and finally decided to buy a thrustmaster tx for the xbox one. I figured it would be a good choice as I cam use it on both the xbox and pc( if I decide to dump $1000+ to build a gaming computer.

Im still trying to decide what seat, screen ect to go with.

Excited to try the new wheel on forza and project cars when it comes out

Welcome to ISR!

With a seat try your local junk/scrapyard and have a look around for a nice seat you may need to pay a small fee or you might get lucky and get one for nothing. Another option is go onto ebay you can pick up brand new bucket seats for a good price. With monitors i don't know much on as i only run a 22" but it depends if you are looking for a triple monitor setup and if so the ASUS 24" seem to be popular here. For a single screen rig i would go with a 30" to 40" i recently tried a 40" TV and it was a blast but as i said i don't know enough on screens to point you in the right direction, i'm sure someone will chip in here ;)

CHEERS! :D

Another cockpit you may want to consider is the Obutto, the oZone and the R3volution. The oZone is smaller less expensive but both are fully equipped with a reclining seat, seat runners (to slide forward and back), a keyboard and mouse tray covered in mouse pad material, a shifter tray and a single monitor mount. You can buy the optional arms for the monitor mount for triple screens. also optional are the acrylic table top (single for the oZone, duals for the R3volution)

I have both these cockpits and I am pleased with them both, they are built out of steel and are made to last, the seat is comfortable. Also, being Canadian we have a Canadian distributor for Obutto, they are called Simulation1 and are based in Ontario. So you would be paying in Canadian dollars thus not worrying about the exchange on the dollar and possibly duty.

Here's a link to Simulation1 and the Obutto oZone page.

You can also check out better pictures of the Obutto cockpits at the Obutto main website.

Good luck with whatever you decide on and welcome to the world of Sim Racing :)

Take care
