Brandonmorris44 8 Report post Posted June 8, 2014 hey guys i have a few questions. I recently found out about sim racimg so i ordered me a raceroom rr1000 with all the extra supports monitor mount floor mat keyboard mount and a g27 system . just kinda getting my toes wet in the whole thing . i also ordered a gaming comnputer set up to support triple screens and all. im going to use this in my cinema at home i have a benq 1070 projector 140" and im thinking about just ordering triple 24s for the rig but raceroom does not carry triple mount kits so im going to have to build something i assume so i was wonderinmg if anyone has built a mount for one of those rigs or if yall have any suggestons to what would work best. im brand new to it never even opened the boxes yet just trying to get all my ducks in a row first . should i buy any extras like button boxes or anything. any suggestions for a noob would be great thanks. Welcome buddy, sounds like you've gotten off to a great start with the kit you already have!, get ready to become obsessed and totally drawn in to this sim racing world.....whichever path you take!! Iracing, Rfactor, Assetto. Corsa, or just your arcade style racers......whichever way you go....you'll become very addicted if you're anything like me!,always looking for the 'perfect' set up....the perfect FOV, and what else you can buy to enhance your sim experience....but kickers etc etc!! To answer your question, I myself have a decent projector setup, which was very immersive....however I went down the triple screen route and never looked back....it's unbeatable for immersion in my opinion!, I keep my projector setup for xbox 360 or Xbox One racing...and triple screens for my PC racing....what I can tell you is that Obutto do a stand alone triple mount stand, which I'm pretty sure you could use for your setup!! I looked at it myself but my screens are 42inch and it didn't support such large screens!! So I had to go down the individual TV stands for mine and angle them the way I like it!! This also supports my rig which is more of an F1 style cockpit (both of them) and they sit very low down....my ass is almost touching the actual floor!! I myself don't use a button box.....but it's something I'm looking at for my next purchase...and very handy when it comes to sim racing!! So I'd say.....yeah def worth s purchase! Hope I've been of some help Regards, Jason
